Change the RAID Mode

The G-SPEED eS Pro/ATTO R680 RAID controller combination is congured at the

factory in RAID 0 mode. RAID 1, 5, 6, 10 and JBOD modes are available and the

ATTO CongTool is used to change the mode of operation.

NOTE: There are Mac OS X RAID conguration scripts available that will quickly

recongure your G-SPEED eS Pro units in RAID 0, RAID 5 or RAID 6. See RAID

Conguration Scripts for Mac for more information.

Steps to Change from RAID 0 to RAID 5

1. Unmount G-SPEED eS Pro by dragging

the icon to the trash. (Keyboard shortcut:

Command+E.)

2. Launch the ATTO CongTool as ex-

plained in the previous section, Use the

ATTO CongTool.

3. Select the RAID tab, and in the lower

pane, right-click on the G-SPEED eS Pro

RAID group. From the dropdown menu,

select ‘Delete Group’.
